  1. Capturez et coupez
    Les lames Excalibur® VT (Vertical Tillage), avec leur bord festonné distinctif, capturent et découpent les résidus en tailles gérables par le planteur. Cette conception exclusive à 32 cannelures pénètre facilement dans le sol, crée des mottes de petite taille et commence le processus de mélange du sol et des résidus.
  2. Coupez et enlevez
    Dans ce processus à grande vitesse, l’obliquité réglable des trains de disques avec les lames Excalibur VT (sur un espacement de 8 po), enlève la quantité maximale de sol non coupé à de faibles profondeurs, tout en minimisant les sillons et les billons pour une finition lisse du champ. L’obliquité réglable des trains de disques vous donne le choix de déplacer la terre latéralement ou de laisser plus de résidus.
  3. Mélangez et ancrez
    Une exclusivité de KUHN Krause, les trains rotatifs Star Wheel™ mélangent agressivement la terre et les résidus, pulvérisent les grosses mottes, enlèvent la terre des pelotes racinaires perturbées et ancrent les résidus à la surface du sol.
  4. Taillez et raffermissez
    Le rabatteur de conditionnement du sol éprouvé 24/7® permet de tailler et de raffermir les mottes pour cette opération à grande vitesse.

Obliquité réglable des trains de disques

Le véritable travail du sol vertical est maintenu avec une obliquité de 1° à 5° des trains de risques, tandis que l’obliquité XTended de 6° à 8° offre une action de travail du sol plus agressive. Le réglage hydraulique en option permet à l’opérateur d’ajuster les trains de disques et arrière sur le même angle ou indépendamment, en faisant varier les angles avant et arrière pour répondre à une variété d’objectifs agronomiques. Ces angles peu profonds empêchent le roulis et l’inversion du sol, ce qui distingue le rendement de l’Excelerator de celui des unités des concurrents, en se basant sur l’ancienne technologie des herses à disques avec une obliquité typique de 10° à 22°.

Espacement des lames Excalibur® VT

Les lames Excalibur® VT à 32 cannelures de 22 po ont fait leurs preuves. Elles coupent les résidus et conservent leur tranchant au fil du temps. Les lames Excalibur sont configurées selon un espacement combiné : un espacement avant de 7 po améliore le déplacement optimal du sol, tandis qu’un espacement arrière de 8 po maintient le rendement malgré des conditions défavorables.  La conception unique des lames Excalibur VT minimise les sillons et les billons, laissant un champ lisse passage après passage.

Dents fixées au centre

Des dents centrales réglables sur un espacement de 7 pouces entraînent la terre et les résidus vers le sol afin d’assurer un flux constant de matière.  Au cours de ce processus, une réduction supplémentaire de la taille des mottes a lieu, ainsi qu’une meilleure répartition des résidus sur la largeur de la machine, ce qui permet d’obtenir des conditions de sol et de résidus plus homogènes.

Mélangez la terre et les résidus, pulvérisez les grosses mottes, nivelez et ancrez les résidus à la surface du sol de façon agressive. Cette action protège les résidus contre les vents violents ou les pluies qui emportent le sol, et amorce la décomposition des résidus en matière organique précieuse.

 

Les trains Star Wheel aident à briser le sol non coupé restant entre les voies des lames, offrant une surface lisse et uniforme aux rayonneurs du planteur afin de placer les semences de façon régulière dans la zone d’ensemencement. Les trains de disques à débit constant et à réglage hydraulique sont amortis par des ressorts pour s’adapter aux conditions variables du terrain, répartissant uniformément les résidus à la surface du sol pour une finition uniforme.

Rabatteur de conditionnement robuste 24/7®

Le rabatteur de conditionnement du sol 24/7 éprouvé permet de dimensionner et de raffermir les mottes pour cette activité à grande vitesse. Le rabatteur 24/7 offre également la commodité du « flottement » grâce à un simple ajustement sur le terrain, ce qui permet de continuer à fonctionner dans des sols plus humides. Deux options de rabatteurs robustes sont offertes. Choisissez des lames plates pour un dimensionnement maximal des mottes dans des conditions de sol dur ou des barres rondes pour un raffermissement accru du sol dans des sols argileux. Ce composant efficace complète une finition supérieure pour tout champ.
